Outdoor Wednesday: City Squirrel

Outdoor Wednesday is hosted by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer. To see many, many more outdoor photos or to post some of your own, please visit her blog.

Out on the balcony the other day, I was playing around with the telephoto feature on my camera and managed to capture this little critter. I could just barely see him with my "naked eye," but his silhouette really popped out at me when I trained the camera on him. Those buildings in the background are miles away. Isn't digital technology wonderful?

  1. Wonderful and horrible! I recently discovered that the zoom on my new camera allows me to see farther and clearer than with the naked eye. No wonder paparazzi are driving celebrities nuts. I hope you have a great day, Joy.

  5. What an incredible capture! I love it. It's true that telephoto lenses can sometimes capture things you didn't intend, as DH and I found out when we were night shooting in Austin lol. Happy Outdoor Wednesday. Kathy

Welcome to Joysweb! And thanks for leaving me a comment. I love to hear from visitors. From time to time, I might have to moderate comments - I know that's not very hospitable, so I try to do it only on posts that are more than a few days old. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Also, please note that while I appreciate blog awards, I don't play award tag games. I think you all deserve awards!
