Blue Monday: Signs of Blue

Blue Monday is hosted weekly by Smiling Sally.

I love taking snaps of old signs, especially old neon signs. And I love the turquoise blue in these shots of a sign I found while M and I were exploring one of the older parts of downtown San Antonio, during our recent trip to Texas. I'm not sure what sort of business it advertised – that "greatest cut" could mean a barbershop, I suppose. The building is a very old one, and it still has shops in it, but none of the original ones. I'm so glad they decided to keep the sign.

I really like the bright blue graffiti in this one, too.

  4. the sign is indeed interesting! it is an unusual one for a hairdressers, but I can't think of what else it could mean, either.

  6. I also like the old neon sign, although the newer sign is definitely a bright blue.
