SkyWatch Friday: Storm Front

There were rain storms blowing across the area earlier this week, and these are a couple of shots I took from our balcony one morning. Color shots, not black and white; although the weather system turned the whole world black and white for the day. Very depressing. Fortunately, we've been having a little nicer weather lately -- color has returned to our lives!

SkyWatch Friday: Clouds Over Capitol

This shot was taken in Washington DC, back during the summer when there was evidently some sort of festival or other gathering going on (hence the tent out in front of the building). I suppose it's appropriate that those clouds over our nation's Capitol look just ever so slightly stormy.
