The darker print is called "Ellie Blue" and I love it because of the little elephants in the trim. The lighter print is one of my all-time favorite Vera fabrics -- called "Doodle Daisy," it's shown here on an e-reader sleeve I bought for my new Kindle. I've also got Doodle Daisy stickers plastered all over my laptop. The print reminds me so much of all those spacey florals so popular in the '60s and '70s. (Yes, dear -- you definitely ARE the oldest hippie chick around.)
[Note: I am in no way affiliated with or employed by the Vera Bradley folks. I just love their products. And I'm absolutely not encouraging anyone to buy VB stuff -- it's a very addictive act.]

I love the VB bags and patterns too! I think you might just have something there about the 60s & 70s era and this love of patterns!
ReplyDeleteSincerely, another old Hippie chick in So Cal!
What a delightful V! They are absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteDon't know anything about Vera Bradley, but I do love those fabrics -- but the darker one would be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI am beginning to like Vera! I love those bags, for they are so colourful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this beautiful V post!

As addictions go, it's fairly innocuous, at least!

Love me some Vera! What is the name of the style of the purse? How do you like the Kindle? I have finally gotten my fill of e-readers and am back to buying physical books. I do like being able to check books from the library -- that very nice!
