Ruby Tuesday: Bench Marked

Now I know this photo doesn't have a lot of red. But I found this secluded spot in one of the parks here in Alexandria recently, and just had to snap it. It's such a perfect representation of the suburbs here in the Washington DC area – around here, even the park benches come with red tape included!

  1. you might not have lots of red in the photo but the red tape tied on the tree looks intriguing to me.

  3. What does the red ribbon mean? I sure hope it doesn't mean that this one is gonna be torn out!!

My Ruby Tuesday is "Skipping Rocks" - a sculpture. Come by to view if you have time today.

  7. Looks like a great place to sit a spell, even if there is a little red tape involved. :)

Actually, it is a very nice photo. You have very pretty park areas there. Here, everything looks dead already.
