Off and on, over the last couple of years, I've been spending a little time digitizing our old 35mm slides. We have thousands, so it's obviously a never-ending process.
This one caught my attention the other day. It was taken somewhere on the River Walk, in San Antonio TX, when I was about nineteen years old. The photographer was my husband-to-be.
I'm not exactly sure what those plants are called - but don't they look like something from Doctor Who? Fortunately, I got away before they could wrap me up and devour me.
Maybe it's a banana tree. You look so cute. I don't think I was ever that thin. Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteOh, I had to come back and comment on that huge plant about to put its leafy arms around you. Looks like an Elephant Ear plant. Tropicals make easy care indoor houseplants.
ReplyDeleteLooks kinda like a banana tree to me.
ReplyDeleteI had a couple of thousand slides taken in the 60s and 70s that I scanned into my computer. It's so nice to be able to do that, but it is a big job.
Happy Blue Monday.
Charlotte
